Artist Bio: Susie Taylor is a veteran jacquard designer and a master handweaver.  Her work explores geometric abstraction in addition to combining weaving with origami techniques. 

Artwork Title: Loom controlled Doubleweave Study

Artwork Description: This study helped me transition from DW pickup to loom controlled DW by opening my eyes to the aesthetic possibilities of geometric abstraction in woven form.  This small sample is mounted on canvas that is stretched around a small wood frame and is meant to be hung on the wall.

timeline: the raffle will run from May 13-20, and winners will be chosen at random and announced on May 23rd.

ticket prices: textile pieces valued between $100-250 are priced at $10 a ticket, and textile pieces valued between $250-500 are priced at $20 per ticket.
